It's all in your mind

My beautiful roommates surprised me with tickets to see CATS on my birthday, so I have finally seen it and can stop lamenting how the theatre gods are against me. I realize that sounds ridiculous to everybody else, but the fact that I've constantly been thwarted when I try to see that show has become a big symbolic milestone for me, and now it's finally past. Anyway.

I am totally officially no longer a minor, and am all done with exciting birthdays for the rest of my life, until I get past 75 or so. I find it weirdly satisfying. :) Going out to dinner with my beautiful roommates tonight, where I shall buy a Long Island Iced Tea! Hooray!
